Franklin Township has a vacancy on both the Planning Commission (meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month) – Alternate Member and also the Zoning Hearing Board is in need of a member (meets on an as needed basis). If interested in serving please email a resume to info@franklintwp.us.
Your Township has a number of committees, commissions, and special task forces that are staffed by volunteers. At various times there is a need to find a new member for these positions. In order to facilitate finding new members, the Township maintains a human resources file of people that would be willing to serve the Township. If you are interested in helping your Township, please send a resume to the Township office at P.O. Box 309, Cashtown, PA 17310 or it can be dropped off at the office during normal business hours – Monday through Thursday – 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
